Our kids are the greatest! Bug is 7 years-old and Bean is 6 years-old. Bug has Asperger Syndrome (a form of high functioning Autism) and Bean is, well, a drama queen and self proclaimed princess. In fact, I think she actually believes Disney based Cinderella and all the others totally on her, LOL!
I'm a pretty opinionated person and I like to share, hence the "in your face" blogging style. I actually believe there are way too many fluffy mommy blogs out there - you know the ones, they make it seem like everything is peaches and cream and we all know that what they really want to say is "my day sucked butt!" Well, you're just not gonna get the fluff here. I love my life, but sometimes I just need to get stuff out. Parenting is so not perfect and I can't act perfect all the time. Life is life and we all have to deal with it somehow.
I dig the blogging world, I have been involved in it since November 2004. I have had a lot of blogs and tried many things, and I've made a lot of friends along the way. I started this site to talk about all things parenting, but let me be the first to tell you that I am so much more than "just a mom". I'm a daughter of the King, an intelligent woman, a college graduate, a goal oriented perfectionist, a writer, a manager, a dreamer, a fighter, a lover, and a friend... Wait a second, I think I started singing a song somewhere in there! Ha!
Anyways, I'm a lot of things, but most of all right now what I am is thankful that you stopped by and took the time to check me out. I hope you'll come back often and see what I have to offer. It may be fun, or it may be scary, but it certainly will never be just ordinary!
