It was 5:30 in the morning. It was still dark outside. Bug shot up out of bed (he was in with us - that's a whole other story) and he ran out to the iPad. Then he ran back.
It was time.
He was excited.
I pulled myself out of bed and logged on to the app store.
I clicked "buy" and entered my password.
I told him to wait a minute for it to load and then I went back to bed.
I'd like to say I got a lot more sleep, but I didn't. Bug was incredibly excited and he wanted the entire house to know it. He kept running in saying, "Mommy, you have to see this part!"
Finally I went out and I knew it would be cute so I grabbed my phone to snap a pic...
Blankets and pillows and Angry Birds Space - nothing else matters to him today. It was difficult to get him out the door for therapy and now that we're back home he is right back on playing the game.
I also want to point out that I put it on my phone for Bean to play while we were waiting at therapy. Um... She's a rock star. In just 15 minutes my five year-old got THREE stars on the first 8 levels.
These kids amaze me.
