Ongoing Journey to Thin - Review and Giveaway!

Many of you know I have been working at my weight loss for some time now.  In fact, I keep track of it on another blog that I call Fat Mom Thin.  So far I have managed to drop 38 pounds and shed 31 inches from my body.  I've also gone down 5.9% in body fat.  It's a process that takes commitment, time, willpower, and energy.  And it is a commitment that I have made and will keep for the rest of my life.

It is because of that commitment that I was thrilled when a friend asked me to review her latest e-book, Ongoing Journey to Thin.  I think any tool or resource that can help women to achieve success should get attention and consideration - and it just so happens that this resource passes with flying colors!

Ongoing Journey to Thin is a very practical guide that can be used in conjunction with any weight loss plan.  The author, Lara Velez, takes a non-clinical, reality-based look at why we eat, what we eat, and how we eat, while offering some very easy to follow solutions that can be added to daily life to increase your health.

Lara's eating tips, fitness tips, and lifestyle tips can be used by just about anyone.  As I read along in the book I found myself agreeing with most of what she said and thinking that yes, that is how to do it.  Quite a few of her ideas are things that I have learned while on my own weight loss journey and I found the e-book to be loaded with great reminders for me.

And as an added bonus, Lara included a recipe section with some of her favorite good eats that I think anyone who reads the book would enjoy!

All in all, I was just really pleased with this e-book.  It is useful, it is real, and when it comes to weight loss it is refreshing.

And I'm even more pleased to be able to offer it (via PDF) to TWO LUCKY READERS!!!

That's right, ladies, I'm having a GIVEAWAY!!!!

Winning is simple...

Biggest weight loss struggle is finding time to exercise. Our crazy schedule leaves minimal day (or night) time hours to get to the gym, so most of what I do has to be at home.

(stupid cell phone!)

My biggest weight loss struggle is chocolate!!! I can't turn it down! If it's in the house, I'll eat it. If it's not in the house, I go to the store and buy it. (especially when upset, depressed, or exceptionally happy)
Another struggle is that I'm lazy. I can't get off my tush to do anything. My support system is not in the same state as I'm in so it's easier to ignore.
